![]() It's like photomatix is saving the image in such a way that only it can read again correctly. If I reopen the generated jpg within photomatix instead, everything is sharp as it should be. The thing is I get a very sharp image even after processing my HDR in photomatix when then I save the image, no matter whether jpf or tiff, I get some annoying blurring out (which can be seen when I open the file in onother program). I think I'm experiencing something very similar to what maestrozohan had got. This became a pretty old post but I'll try anyway to see if I can get any answer to my trouble. It is pretty easy to me.Yea i can understand after photomatix i should do some tweak in Photoshop/light room. And Thanks for your link. Most of us who have been using it for a few years use it to tonemap, and do most everything else in photoshop etc.Topaz is very popular for post processing too. I dont know how long you have been using it Zohan, but it can be a steep learning curve. If you want it more like the preview, use exposure fusion or tone compessor at DEFAULT.you turn a strength slider up to 100 and of course you are not going to get it looking anything like the preview.ĭo the tonemapping in photomatix(I mostly leave it on default) and the post processing in photoshop or lightroom. Yeah I looked in slideshow.that is exactly what details enhancer does, especially at 100%. Welll here is a set of those picture kulu. The first one is the result of After hitting the process button.Īnd the second one is before hitting the preocess button that i was actually seein on preview screen. But when i process it comes really unsharp picture.ġ send hdrsoft some screenshots of before and after(they are quick to reply and offer advice)Ģ if you are sure it's photomatix, not you, then uninstall and reinstall it, you may have gotten a corrupt download(make sure you have your activation key). :( before precessing everything is alright.Sharp picture. thanks you kulu and mike.Īhhhhh!! I tried but No luck guys. Re-run one of your blurry examples and turn the Photomatix noise reduction level off, or reduce its setting by a large amount. Try modifying the amount of noise reduction that you're allowing Photomatix to do. Go to >view>preferences>general and make sure 'start tonemapping with default settings' is ticked NOT 'settings of previous session'. You also may have photomatix set to use the last tonemapping settings rather than default. After hitting the process button the picture isnt the same picture that i saw on preview window. It comes really unreal and awful.Īnybody has the solution or what i am doing wrong? It doesn't matter what format I save it as it always opens the file up either in Preview or Photoshop and it is just horribly blurry compared to the original file in Photomatix which I had created. I then Process it and proceed to 'save it as'.either a JPG, 8 Bit Tiff or 16 bit Tiff. I do all the Tone Mapping and the picture looks good to me. I have however unfortunately come to the conclusion that something just isn't right. #Photomatix pro 4.2 serial key proI have really become fond of bracketing my photos and then editing them in the Photomatix Pro 4 HDR editor( OSX ). ![]()
